The story

The fifth public La Guelaguetza brought a full day of color, movement, flavor, and connection to Heritage Park.

What began as a gathering of seven families continued to grow into one of Northern Utah's most visible celebrations of Oaxacan culture.

The festival welcomed families and neighbors into the meaning of Guelaguetza: an offering shared through music, food, clothing, dance, and gratitude.
